Fayetteville Names NTS “Innovator of the Year” at Annual Excellence In Business Awards

Fayetteville, AR - December 7, 2021 – NTS Innovations was named “Innovator of the Year” in Fayetteville’s Annual Excellence In Business Awards Ceremony. The event is hosted by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce and recognizes outstanding organizations in the community who display excellence.
The event was held at the Fayetteville Public Library on the evening of December 6th.
On hand to receive the award was Don Meyer, NTS Founder and CEO. He was joined by David Hinton, Executive Director – UARK Technology Ventures and David Snow, UARK Vice Chancellor for Economic Development.
“We are incredibly honored to be receiving this award. Our presence in Fayetteville would not be possible without the tremendous efforts of our Technology Ventures and University of Arkansas research partners. We thank them for their dedication, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit.” said Meyer.
Through a license agreement with UARK, NTS is collaborating with researchers to commercialize technologies called Nanoscale Energy Harvesting. The line of products in development is targeted at IoT, wearables and wireless sensors as a means of powering devices without the need for battery changes or wiring.
NTS recently expanded into the Innovation Center at the Arkansas Research and Technology Park. The location will provide the company with additional testing capabilities and opportunities to work in close proximity to research partners.
